You have just booked your Precellence private chauffeur for an airport or station transfer. Your flight lands, your train arrives: where exactly is your chauffeur waiting? It is the question our clients ask us most often. Here is the complete guide, terminal by terminal, station by station. All Precellence chauffeurs are English-speaking and deployed across every terminal 24/7.
The Precellence welcome protocol
Before detailing each meeting point, here is how your reception systematically unfolds:
- 15 minutes before the time — Your chauffeur is on site at least 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of your flight or train. In case of flight delay, we track your number in real time.
- Name sign — Your chauffeur waits for you with an elegant sign bearing your name (or your company's name, depending on your preference).
- SMS 30 minutes before — You receive an SMS with your chauffeur's name, the vehicle model and the exact location. You know precisely where to go as soon as you step off the plane or train.
- Real-time flight tracking — For airport transfers, we track your flight. If your plane is delayed, your chauffeur adjusts the arrival time. No surcharge is billed for flight delays.
- Luggage assistance — Your chauffeur takes charge of your suitcases as soon as you meet and places them in the boot. For families with strollers or travellers with special equipment, let us know at booking.
Meeting points — CDG (Charles de Gaulle)
CDG is a vast airport with several terminals. The meeting point depends on the arrival terminal of your flight.
- Terminal 1 — Arrivals hall, ground floor (level 0). Your chauffeur waits at the exit of the doors, facing the flight information panels. It is the most visible zone right out of the baggage claim area.
- Terminal 2A / 2C — Arrivals exit, left side. Your chauffeur positions himself on the left as you come out of the automatic doors, near the official meeting point.
- Terminal 2B / 2D — Arrivals exit, right side. The chauffeur waits to the right of the main exit, in front of the currency exchange bureaus.
- Terminal 2E / 2F — Welcome gallery. These are the busiest terminals (long-haul flights). Your chauffeur waits in the welcome gallery, a clearly identified area with the chauffeurs' name signs.
- Terminal 2G — Access by shuttle from Terminal 2F. Your chauffeur waits at the shuttle exit on the 2G side, or directly at Terminal 2F if you prefer.
- Terminal 3 — Main arrivals hall. A smaller terminal, your chauffeur waits directly at the exit, easily identifiable.
Meeting points — Orly
Since Orly's reorganisation in 2019, the airport has 4 sectors numbered 1 to 4.
- Orly 1 / 2 / 3 — Your chauffeur waits facing the exit doors of the arrivals hall, on level 0. The meeting point is clearly signposted. For Orly 1, it is the north-side exit; for Orly 2, the central exit; for Orly 3, the main exit facing car park P3.
- Orly 4 — Right zone of arrivals. Orly 4 (formerly Orly Sud international) is the terminal for long-haul flights. Your chauffeur waits to the right of the main exit, near the taxi rank.
Meeting points — Le Bourget
Paris-Le Bourget airport is dedicated to business aviation. The reception is more personalised and far simpler than at commercial airports.
- FBO terminal (Fixed Base Operator) — If you arrive via an FBO operator (Dassault Falcon Service, Universal Aviation, Advanced Air Support), your chauffeur waits directly on the tarmac or in the FBO's VIP lounge, depending on the day's authorisations.
- Main entrance — For other arrivals, the chauffeur waits at the terminal's main entrance, facing the visitor car park. Le Bourget being a small airport, the meeting is immediate.
Meeting points — Paris stations
Paris stations are in the heart of the city. Drop-off and pickup zones are regulated. Here is exactly where your chauffeur waits:
- Gare du Nord — Rue de Dunkerque, main exit side. Your chauffeur waits on the pavement facing the Eurostar / Thalys exit, at number 18 rue de Dunkerque. An easily identifiable zone.
- Gare de Lyon — Boulevard Diderot, Hall 1 side. Your chauffeur waits on Boulevard Diderot, facing the Hall 1 exit (TGV South-East, Italy, Switzerland). For Hall 2, pickup is on rue de Bercy.
- Gare Montparnasse — Under the arcades, departure level. Your chauffeur waits under the arcades of the main facade, boulevard de Vaugirard. An easily identifiable meeting point, sheltered from the rain.
- Gare de l'Est — Place du 11 Novembre 1918. Your chauffeur waits on the square, facing the main exit. For arrivals from Germany or Switzerland (ICE, TGV Est), the exit is directly onto the square.
- Gare Saint-Lazare — Cour de Rome or Cour du Havre, depending on your arrival platform. Your chauffeur indicates the exact point by SMS. The Cour de Rome (rue de Rome side) is generally the most convenient point for TER and Intercités arriving from Normandy.
