Womenswear, Menswear, Couture

Paris Fashion Week is in fact four distinct calendar moments, and each has its own logistical character:

• Haute Couture (January, July) — Smaller, more confidential format. Iconic venues (Petit Palais, palace salons). VIP and journalist densities are very high.
• Womenswear Ready-to-Wear (February-March, September-October) — The busiest weeks. Larger logistics, hundreds of buyers, sharp peak in evening dinners.
• Menswear (January, June) — Shorter (4 to 5 days). Concentrated on the Marais and the Champs-Élysées.
