Gare du Nord · Europe's busiest station · from €85
Two hundred million travellers a year. Twenty-three countries served.
Seven streets leading to seven different neighbourhoods. The chauffeur knows only one : yours.
Gare du Nord is Europe's busiest railway station by passenger traffic and the third busiest in the world, after Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo. Inaugurated in 1864 and designed by Jacques Hittorff, its monumental façade is one of the great markers of nineteenth-century railway architecture. It is also the only Paris station to combine Eurostar (London St Pancras International in 2h16), Thalys / Eurostar Group (Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne), TGV inOui Hauts-de-France (Lille, Arras), TER, RER B and D, and two metro lines.
Arriving at Gare du Nord is a logistical challenge. For a Eurostar traveller from London, there is first the post-Brexit customs clearance — five minutes at best, twenty at worst depending on the queue. Then the exit on the Eurostar terminal level (rue de Maubeuge), separated from the main exit by 200 metres and several levels. For a TGV traveller from Lille, arrival is directly on platforms 3 to 21, exiting via the main forecourt on rue de Dunkerque. For a Thalys traveller from Amsterdam, exit is shared with Eurostar but without customs.
The Precellence private chauffeur is trained in these specifics. He knows where Eurostar passengers come out, at what level Thalys travellers wait, how to park the car in the drop-off zone on rue de Dunkerque without blocking the flow. Our English-speaking chauffeurs are particularly versed in the Eurostar arrival protocol from St Pancras. For a senior executive arriving from a meeting in Brussels with another appointment at La Défense within the hour, this mastery of nuance changes everything.

Your Gare du Nord pickup — in five steps
From the moment you send us your train number or Eurostar reference to the moment the car drives off, here is how Precellence orchestrates your transfer.
Booking and type of train
Indicate the date, arrival time, train or Eurostar number (essential for real-time tracking), your type of arrival (Eurostar with customs, Thalys without customs, domestic TGV), and the drop-off address. Immediate confirmation.
Chauffeur assigned the day before
SMS the day before with chauffeur's name, phone number, model and colour of the vehicle. For London Eurostar arrivals, the chauffeur is trained in the customs protocol and anticipates the 5 to 20 minutes of margin.
Real-time Eurostar / SNCF train tracking
Our system tracks your train continuously. If delayed, the chauffeur is notified and adjusts arrival. He parks in the drop-off zone on rue de Dunkerque (main forecourt) or rue de Maubeuge (Eurostar) depending on your arrival.
Meet & Greet at platform exit
Name sign in hand, your chauffeur waits at the relevant exit. For Eurostar: at the customs exit on the Eurostar level. For domestic TGV and Thalys: main forecourt. Luggage handled from the platform to the vehicle.
Drive to Paris or the region
Climate to your preference, silence or conversation, Wi-Fi on board, still water. Arrival at the exact address provided — hotel, home, office, airport. The chauffeur unloads your bags and hands you a receipt if requested.
